TRIFOO 101
How to read TRIFOO THE WANDERING MAGE— a brief introduction
TRIFOO (try-FOO) should be read as a play of sorts. Rather than pursue a traditional novel format, I sought to zero-in on a format for this project that showcases its unique strengths. It is an episodic narrative, and thus it is presented as “Episodes” instead of “Chapters”
It relies heavily on your participation as you read it. You’ll find there may be more required of your imagination than with a standard novel, even prescribing camera angles and scene transitions! It is written with a visual-first mindset, so that’s how to gain the most value from it as you read along each week.
I’m also an illustrator, so it won’t be all on you. I’ll be sharing key visuals often to orient your perspective of the world and characters.
I have so much damn fun writing and drawing this story, and I believe you’ll have even more reading it. Let your mind turn this saga into your new favorite TV show.
